The bodyguards worked the for the Winthrops so of course they gave him some face. He took one last glance at the crazy reporters and sighed. What a waste! Even after all his efforts, the press still couldn't make it inside the hospital. Aiden had been in a coma for barely a day yet it seemed as if the whole world was in a frenzy. Oh how he loved it! Only if that illegitimate child would just die altogether then his life would surely be a bliss. A small smile was plastered on his face as he drove in. ... Aiden badly wanted to go in especially after seeing Henry drive in but he knew struggling with those bodyguards or trying to convince them was an absolute waste of time. 'I need you to call a number for me' he requested . . . . . . Dr Lawrence hid in his office trying to avoid those brawling relatives. He already has enough on his plate and consoling some pretentious mourners was not something he was willing to take up. Though he was able to escape the Winthrop family because they had only arrived this morning, there were still a particular busybody that had been in the hospital right from the previous day. "Why won't they let me see him?" Gia sniffed as tears escaped her eyes "Oh dear, they are not letting anyone in. We must be patient" he replied Only if he wasn't a popular doctor and she wasn't Gia Lowell, he would have sent her out of his office a long time ago. What a shameless woman! Even his family members were not allowed into the ward yet she dare to dream of going in. She was simply one of those women Aiden had a publicity relationship with. Someone he probably never spoke to in all his life yet she dare to show up here today like some abandoned mistress. "Will he be okay?" She asked this same question for the upteenth time Lawrence didn't know how to reply again. The more he heard the same question being asked, the more helpless he felt. He would have said to leave the case to God but Aiden was never a believer. He slammed his hands on the table. Yes he was a doctor but also he was human. There was a limit to what he could endure. That Groke better not even think of dying. He dare not! There were many people who wanted him dead, even people who shared the same family name. How can his ego let him die to those people's delight? "Dr Lawrence!" Gia was stunned by his sudden outburst "Ahh! Ms Lowell" Lawrence smiled lightly He almost forgot that this woman was still in his office. Just then his phone rang, he pick it up from the table casually but then realized that it was a different phone that was ringing. It was the one in his drawer, the same one he used only for communicating with Aiden for special reasons. A thought suddenly stroke him but he quickly dismissed it. He was certain that person in a coma was the same Aiden Winthrop he knew. He had blood samples to prove this particular fact. But if that was so then who exactly was ringing this line. Curious, he took out his phone from the drawer and quickly rushed to the restroom leaving Gia behind. He picked the call and waited for the person on the other line to speak first. "Hello! Dr Lawrence?" A feminine voice echoed A woman! If there was any lady close to Aiden enough to have this number then that had to be his secretary, the old lady but this sounded nothing like secretary Zhou. It sounded like a young woman probably in her twenties. What was the relationship between Aiden and this woman and why did he give her this number? His imagination was already running to different impossibilities. Could it be that Aiden was married without their knowledge? That betrayer! "Dr Lawrence?" Eliora called again It seemed like there was nobody on the other end. "I think this is a wrong number" she mumbled Aiden might have given her a wrong number besides who crams the exact digits of their doctors number? Was that how much they loved going to hospitals?
