One second she was there, alive with me, and the next, she was gone.}

I loved my maas' hands, and comparing them with mine was my favorite thing to do. Little did I know that night would be the last time I held them. So, on the second day after her passing, this memory flooded my thoughts, and I couldn't resist. I took a reference picture holding my sister's hand and drew it. I'm unsure how long i took to create it, but after i was done, I realized that I wouldn't be able to show it to Mama. And I wouldn't be able to see the proud look on her face she used to give after seeing my silly drawings. For the first time in my life, after creating something, I didn't felt excited because I knew my mother wasn't there to see it anymore.
